Tuesday Top Tip #1 - Consistency is key

As we hurtle toward the HSC we thought it might be a good idea to share our top 5 tips for study success.
The more organised you can be, the easier your study will become.

Number 1 - Consistency is key

Do you absorb more information in the evening? In the morning? Do you need a clear workspace and a pair of headphones to concentrate? Or do you need music cranked?
Find a time and a place that works for you and make a commitment. It takes 28 days to form a habit, so put ‘study’ in your calendar, set reminders and alarms – whatever it takes to remain consistent.

Things to remember

  • Study is important; so is balance. Make time to do the things you enjoy, to connect with family and friends and to sleep!
  • Make a list – check it twice. When you know what you need to do, chances are you’ll do it. Plus it’s great to do the whole pen through the task thing.
  • Every little helps. Five minutes here, 20 minutes there – it all adds up great, consistent habits.
