The Music Team

We engaged with the spirit and history of Luna Park over the last ninety years and created a mix of music styles to forge a connection to this timescape. Creativity and artistic openness unearthed a range of collaborative endeavours enabling Music to support other teams such as Film, Dance, and Art.  

Working across the dual disciplines of composition and live performance we were inspired to channel the power and emotion of music to express the amazing legacy that Luna Park has offered to fun-seeking visitors over the decades.  

Music composition ideas were workshopped to refine and capture the essence and excitement of ninety years with students delving into music from the birth of Luna Park to the present.  

For live performance students rehearsed and developed repertoire to entertain guests on the Luna Park event day and transport them through the journey over the last ninety years. Happy 90th Birthday Luna Park!
