Full Steam Ahead!
It’s Project Week 4 and all groups are starting to pick up their pace in their progress.
With time of the essence, many groups have started to find their place in the project while other groups are working towards finding their footing and purpose. Although the day is gloomy, the ideas are nothing but bright, lighting up the hallways of Bradfield.
Did You Hear That?
What's that sound coming from C Block? The Palaeontology Music Group is ahead of the game with three songs already composed. While it’s only week 4, they truly are full steam ahead. So far, they have mainly been working on the songs “... for the dinosaurs escaping and the transition to the butterflies...” said one of the talented musicians, Cooper. The energy is high in C block, and I know we are all thrilled to hear those tunes, and so are they.
Next Steps
Where do you go when you don’t know your next steps in the project? That is where Research is right now. Trying to find their footing and purpose in the project, Jennifer is most excited for “…having something noticeable that my team can say, that was their contribution to the project”. Compared to other groups such as music, Research doesn’t want to feel left behind and are working hard to refine their goals and make their mark on the Project. Where will research go from here? I guess we’ll find out.
Nature on Paper
The art rooms are overflowing with ideas and drawings. Some of the art students are working on botanical art this week. One of our creative artists, Lily, told us that “... with botanical art it has to be extremely accurate....and if it's not accurate you can't produce it anywhere because it's a document”. This could be seen as a reminder to pay more attention to all the effort that goes into every little detail of all the amazing work that people are doing.
