During this course you will have the opportunity to study the concepts of music through the learning experiences of performance, composition, musicology and aural within the context of a range of styles, periods and genres.

Music 2 is designed for students who are thinking about studying music after the HSC.
The focus is on Western Art music and you'll be studying with professional musicians who will help you develop the knowledge and qualifications required to pursue your professional or personal music goals.
Our students perform at College functions throughout the year including Lunchbox and Sonic Lounge.
They also have the opportunity to perform at regional dance and drama festivals, band competitions, music gigs, film festivals and at the annual awards ceremonies for TAFE NSW and at TEDx Northern Sydney Institute.
The Performing Arts Faculty takes advantage of the purpose built performing arts space throughout the college.
These facilities include a dance studio with sprung floor, music and radio recording studios, rehearsal rooms and a performance space with industry standard lighting and audio technology, and film and sound editing facilities.
